Duplicate content between my web and Youtube

I have a web with 90 vídeos hosted in my Youtube channel and each video have an description in single url, but Youtube videos have no description.
If I copy description from my web and paste to Youtube description, this is duplicate content for Google ?

I agree with Stelios and am very pleased to see that Christy endorsed his answer. Please don't do this!
We have a few dozen youtube videos that demonstrate how some of our products are used. We write a big article on our own site about each of these products with the video embeded. On youtube we post a very short - no duplication description.
Now when you search for these products on Google, our "demonstration" article ranks at the top of the SERPs... and our youtube video is lower on the page. I am betting if we duplicated our own content on youtube that the article on our website would not rank in the SERPs because the page on our site and the page on youtube would have identical content.

Yes that will cause you duplicate content issues.
I'm working with a client at the moment that has a similar situation. I've advised them to have a YouTube description that gives an overview of the video content and contains some relevant keywords.
On your website you can embed your video on individual pages, add a brief summary and transcribe the video on the page. You could duplicate your YouTube description on this page, provided your transcription is lengthy enough so it's still unique content. I like to work on a ratio of 30% duplicate to 70% unique if it's necessary.

Hi everyone, On our corporate website we have a blog where we publish articles which are directly related to our company (house heating systems and gas cylinders) and some articles which are completely irrelevant to our core business, but which might be of interest to our potential clients. Recently I've been told that it is not a good idea to include these not directly related posts to our core business, because Google might be somewhat confused at to what our core business is all about. I was advised to research this topic and think of completely removing blog posts that are irrelevant to our core business from our blog. By removing I mean completely removing pages and setting a 410 status to tell Google that it is not a 404 error but that these pages were intentionally removed. Internal blog with history and some SEO value versus new external blogs with specialized content?
We operate a blog inside a folder on our site and considering the launch of 4 highly focused blogs with specialized content which are now categories on the internal blog. Wondering if there is more value in using the external new blogs or just keep growing the internal blog content. Does fact that the internal blog is buried amongst millions of pages have any impact if we want the content indexed and value given to the links from the blog content to our main site pages.

Images & Duplicate Content Issues
Here's a scenario for you: The site is running WordPress and the images are uploaded to the media section. You can set image attributes there such as the Description & Alt Tag. Let's say you'd like to reuse the same image in two different blog posts. The image keeps the same Description & Alt Tag associated with it in the media section. Would this be considered duplicate content? What would be the best practice in this case to reuse the same image in multiple posts?

Duplicat Website Content? (UK, Ireland)
Hi, My website is based in Ireland on a .ie domain & now I would like to enter the UK market on a .co.uk Is it ok for me to duplicate my .ie website and provide all the information on a .co.uk OR is this considered duplicate content in terms of Google. (I'm led to believe that your own content on my domain's is not considered duplicate & this is only considered duplicate content when you go from .com to .ie, .co.uk etc).
