Migrated website but Google Analytics still displays old URL's and none new?!

I migrated a website from a .aspx to a .php and hence had to 301 all the old urls to the new php ones. It's been months after and I'm not seeing any of the php pages showing results but I'm still getting results from the old .aspx pages. Has any one had any experience with this issue or knows what to do? Many thanks,

Hi there I would make sure you take a look through this migration guide from Moz as it has steps to ensure your site is properly migrated. From there, I would check the following:
 Sitemap
 Internal Links
Canonical Tags Change of Address Tool (if necessary)The first three links above could potentially be utilizing old URL structures, so you want to make sure that you change those and they are up to date. The last is for if you changed your domain at all. Your analytics tag should not be the reason that your new URLs are not appearing in search. After these steps, I would then go through a backlink audit and make sure that you update any quality backlinks or listings and remove and/or disavow any links that you find to be spammy or irrelevant to your website. Hope this helps! Good luck!

No, as long as not deleting analytics account when you upgrade it is ok, just a code update. That said I am a cautious chap so I would peel out some important data on the off chance... but spend little time on it, just for safety.

Hi John, Thanks for the answer. Just a quick one, will this lose the previous records? Cheers

It seems you are using the old gs.js page tracking on the site. Looking at cogri
Maybe replace the tracking code with the new Analytics.js?Anayltics.js has some new tracking features compared to the old ga.js and might be the reason why you aren't able to see data & statistics. Available here: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/upgrade/reference/gajs-analyticsjs It can take a couple of days for GA to update... as well.

Hi John, Thank you for getting in touch. I had analytics set up before the migration and I have kept the same tracking code for the new site. I figured that it would be ok as the domain and URL's are exactly the same apart from the fact that the old ones had .aspx on the end.

Would updating Meta Titles affect Google analytics tracking?
Hi All, I need a little bit of help. We need to optimize our blog's articles Meta titles for SEO which all exceed 100 characters. I was told that if we change the titles, google analytics would split the tracking pages and count the data as 2 pages (old title and new title). Has any of you have this experience before and if so, is there a way to avoid google analytics counting this as two pages? Thanks in advance! Localhost:4444 Showing Up in Google Analytics
Hello All, Lately in my Google Analytics account I have noticed a referral source labelled: localhost:4444 The number of visits is really high from this source, but I have no idea (no clue!) what it actually means. Can anyone shed some light on what this is about? Should I be creating some sort of filter to screen out this as a referral source (assuming it is not legitimate)? Many thanks in advance. Cheers! AW Stats vs Google Analytics
Hey Moz Community, I am looking to get opinions on the best practice for analytics/traffic analysis. From experience I know that AW Stats reads high and Google Analytics reads low for traffic for reason in this article http://www.smartz.com/blog/2009/01/23/analytic-confusion-%E2%80%93-awstats-vs-google-analytics/ It drives me a little nuts how far off both are for some pages. I have one article that shows 100 views (GA) and AW stats shows 5 times that number of views. Any suggestions or systems you recommend? Thanks Reporting & Analytics | | johnshearer0
