          Hi all,

I've been using Moz Bar for years. It ran well until about three weeks ago. It suddenly failed to show the DA and PA of sites that I open after I log in. And it keeps asking me to log in when I did. I tried to uninstall the Mozbar extension and reinstalled it several times. Nothing worked. I also tried to uninstall Chrome and clear the cookies, still, nothing changed.

Did anyone experience this? How do you solve it and make it run on the track?

          Any information will be appreciated.

The issue you're facing with Moz Bar not displaying data and repeatedly asking you to log in, despite being logged in, can be frustrating. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve this problem:

Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, stored data in your browser's cache can cause issues. Try clearing your browser cache and then log in to Moz Bar again.

Browser Extensions: Disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might be conflicting with Moz Bar. Some extensions can interfere with how Moz Bar functions.

Update Your Browser: Ensure that your web browser is up to date. Outdated browsers can sometimes cause compatibility issues with extensions like Moz Bar.

Try a Different Browser: If the issue persists, try using Moz Bar in a different browser to see if the problem is browser-specific.

Check Moz Account Status: Confirm that your Moz account is active and in good standing. Sometimes, account issues can affect the functioning of Moz Bar.

Contact Moz Support: If none of the above steps resolves the issue, it's a good idea to reach out to Moz's customer support for personalized assistance. They can investigate the problem further and provide guidance specific to your account.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue with Moz Bar not displaying data and asking you to log in, even when you're logged in.

I had the same issue but the problem was simply that I wasn't logged in Chrome which I use frequently but only logged in Firefox 😊

                          Hi Erica,
Sorry for the trouble here, and thanks for letting us know! That is odd that you whole team is having trouble, I hope I can help.

                          First, to answer your questions:

                          1. yes, it is required that you're logged into your Moz account to use Mozbar.

                          2. and yes, it should be sufficient to allow all cookies from a-moz.groupbuyseo.org https://www.screencast.com/t/D9CbAaKP5p

Please also clear your browser's cache and cookies, restart your browser again and then log into a-moz.groupbuyseo.org.

If you or your team are still having trouble I have an extended video covering troubleshooting steps here https://a-moz.groupbuyseo.org/help/research-tools/mozbar/troubleshooting-mozbar

If all else fails I'd love to see a screenshot of what you're seeing so I can get an idea of where you're getting stuck.
                          Best of luck!
                          Jo

@jocameron Hi there. Regarding the message 'Improve your MozBar experience. Please unblock 3rd Party Cookies, or allow [*.]a-moz.groupbuyseo.org in your Cookie settings.
Learn more', can I establish a couple of things?

                            1. Users must login with a Moz account for any feature to work, yes?
                            2. You say to Allow all cookies in the directions above. Is it not sufficient to (in Google Chrome), browse chrome://settings/cookies > scroll to Customized Behaviours > and add [*.]a-moz.groupbuyseo.org to 'Sites that can always use cookies' (including third party cookies on this site).

I'm pretty disappointed to come back from holiday and find that MozBar is not working at all for me or my team.

                                Hi Jo,

The problem solved within clicks under your instruction. And Thanks for the help.

I opened the Block third-party cookies. So after I disabled it as you suggested and clear the cookie again, MozBar return to the normal state.

                                Thank you again!

                                  Hello!

Jo from the Moz support team here. Sorry for the trouble you've had recently with MozBar.

We have had some reports of issues logging in to MozBar and I've got some troubleshooting steps which I think might help!

First off please check that you're not blocking third party cookies from your browser settings.

To check this head to this page in Chrome chrome://settings/content/cookies

Then make sure you're not blocking third-party cookies https://screencast.com/t/YUTerLJ1

After you enable all cookies, including third-party, and save the settings, restart your browser and log back into a-moz.groupbuyseo.org.

After that, open up the MozBar and make sure you are logged in (it indicates whether you're logged in on the top of the page).

If you're still having problems, you may want to clear your browser's cache and cookies, as well. After it's all cleared out, try restarting the browser again and then logging in.

It can take a few clicks to log in, click on the yellow log in button that opens up a new tab each time, repeat until you're logged in.

If you're still stuck please check out our guide which has some more suggestions and a detailed list of information our support team requires to investigate further.

                                  https://a-moz.groupbuyseo.org/help/guides/research-tools/mozbar

                                  I hope this helps!

                                  Jo

Will Removing or Disavowing Toxic Links Improve MOZ Domain Authority?

The vast majority of the 140 domains that link to our website are very low quality directories or and other toxic links. Only about 20-30 domains are not toxic (according to Link Research Tools confirmed by out manual inspection of these links). Would removing some of these links improve of MOZ Domain Rank? What if we cannot remove them, can NOZ detect a disavow file? In general would improving the ratio between good quality and poor quality links improve domain authority? Thanks,
                                    Alan

                                    Site crawl only shows homepage

Hi everyone, A client of us has a quite new website with a lot of URLs. (Google Search Console indicates around 5300.) However, when I execute a site crawl with screaming frog, or a crawl test in MOZ, it only shows me one URL, the homepage. Does somebody have an idea why the other pages of the website are not showing up? Thanks,
                                    Jens

                                    Moz Keyword Tool Monthly Volume

Ive recently put together a Keyword List of about 100 keywords on the Moz Keyword Explorer tool. One keyword, aerial filming, stood out as very low search volume of 51 - 100. I took the same 100 keywords and passed them through the Google Keyword Planner by Google AdWords. Aerial Filming has an average search volume of 1k - 10k according to the Keyword Planner. Even though Keyword Planner gives me a range of 1k - 10k, the lowest number is still 10 times higher than what the Moz Keyword Explorer was indicating. This drastic difference of volume was consistent across all 100 keywords. All of the Monthly Volume numbers were divided by 10. Why does Moz Keyword Tool display a search volume that is 10x less than what Google Keyword Planner is suggesting?

Does Moz have a Hashtag tracker?

If not, why not? And what are you using?

Rank tracker not showing proper rankings.

Just joined MozPro and pretty amazed at all of the info and tools it contains. However I was playing around with the rank tracker and just to test it I put in a keyword and a URL I can clearly see that is ranking #2 for the keyword. Went I ran it through it said that domain wasn't ranked in the top 50. Tried it again and made sure to put in "http://www." and then it said it was #50. I can clearly see it is #2 for the keyword. Wondering if I am doing something wrong?
