I am an independent artist and all of my business inquiries come through my website (www.ChrisCarlsonArt.com). Over the last 6 months I have been trying to get pages other than my homepage to rank for my keywords, but I haven't made any progress. I worry that I am cannibalizing my keywords since my pages all have similar information. Should I just delete my other pages and focus on ranking my homepage? Also, if I delete my other pages will that have a negative impact on my rankings?

No! you should add more content pages related to your main keyword to build authority in your niche. This will help you to boost your main article in SERP for a long time. I am also doing the same for my blog TeraBox MOD APK.

No, often it’s the homepage which ranks for most of the keywords, this is because, often because the homepage will have the most links leading to it.

But if you build quality, white hat backlinks to all the other pages, you might see them ranking higher as well.

You have rankings for the 3d chalk art page. They are not in the visible range, but they also have their right to exist, and I would focus on optimizing specific topics on subpages further. Have you integrated alt texts, used more long-term terms, or done anything with Google Business? What about backlinks?

It sounds like you might be facing keyword cannibalization issues. Instead of deleting pages, consider optimizing each with unique content. Utilize internal linking to strengthen your homepage's authority while ensuring other pages rank for specific keywords. Deleting pages might negatively affect your rankings due to lost content and backlinks.

                          @PunchyMcSkeletor Hello!

It’s important not to hastily delete pages as this could negatively impact your site's overall SEO. Instead, focus on differentiating the content on each page to target specific aspects of your art. Here’s a concise approach:

                          1. Keyword Differentiation: Assign unique, relevant keywords to each page based on the specific content or theme it presents. This prevents keyword cannibalization and strengthens the individual page's SEO.

                          2. Content Optimization: Enhance each page by deepening the content's quality and relevance. Make sure each page offers unique value that isn’t just a repetition of what's on your homepage.

                          3. Internal Linking: Use internal links wisely to help distribute page authority throughout your site and improve navigation for users.

                          4. Monitor and Adjust: Keep track of changes in your rankings and traffic after implementing these changes. Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to understand the impact of your modifications.

Deleting pages should be a last resort, as this can remove indexed content and potential entry points for users. Instead, focus on making each page a valuable resource on its own right. This strategy should help improve the ranking of your individual pages without losing the overall strength of your website.

Deleting other pages solely because they aren't ranking for specific keywords may not be the best approach. Here are some considerations:

                            1. User Experience: Each page on your website serves a purpose and contributes to the overall user experience. Deleting pages arbitrarily could disrupt the navigation flow and diminish the value you offer to visitors.

                            2. Content Relevance: Evaluate the content on your non-ranking pages. Are they addressing relevant topics related to your business or industry? If not, consider optimizing the content to align better with your target keywords and audience intent.

                            3. Backlinks and Authority: Other pages besides the homepage may have accumulated valuable backlinks over time, contributing to your website's authority. Deleting these pages could result in lost link equity and negatively impact your site's SEO performance.

                            4. Optimization Opportunities: Instead of deleting pages, focus on optimizing them for better search visibility. Conduct keyword research to identify relevant keywords and incorporate them naturally into the content. Improve meta tags, headings, and other on-page elements to enhance the pages' SEO potential.

                            5. Internal Linking: Ensure that your homepage and other important pages are appropriately linked within your website's structure. Internal linking helps distribute authority and relevance throughout your site, potentially boosting the visibility of non-ranking pages.

                            6. User Intent: Consider whether your homepage adequately addresses the search intent behind the keywords that it ranks for. If users are searching for specific information or solutions that are better suited to other pages, those pages should be optimized accordingly rather than deleted.

instead of deleting non-ranking pages, assess their relevance, optimize them for relevant keywords, and ensure they contribute meaningfully to your website's overall user experience and SEO strategy.

Is it Ok to have multiple domains (separate website different content) rank for similar keywords?

                                multiple domains duplicate content

Is it 'OK' to have multiple domains in the following instance? Does Google actively discourage multiple (but completely different sites) domains from the same company appearing in the search results for the same and or similar keywords if the content is slightly different? This is where the 'main site' has the details, and you can purchase product, and the second site is a blog site only. We are creating a separate content blogsite; which would be on a second domain that will be related to one portion of content on main site. They would be linking back and forth, or maybe the blog site would just link over to the main site so they can purchase said product. This would be a similar scenario to give you an idea of how it would be structured: MAIN SITE: describes a few products, and you can purchase from this site SECOND SITE, different domain: a blog site that contains personal experiences with one of the products. BOTH sites will be linked back and forth....or as mentioned maybe the blog site could just link over to the 'main site' Logo would be a modified version of the main logo and look and feel of the sight would be similar but not exactly the same. MORE INFO: the main site has existed for way over 10 years, starting to gain some traction in an extremely competitive market, but does not rank super high, is gaining traction due to improvements in speed, content, onpage SEO, etc... So in addition to my main question of is this 'ok' to have this second domain, also will it hurt the rankings or negatively affect the 'main' site? Wondering about duplicate content issues, except it will be slightly different...

Unsolved Can I get Moz keywords via API?

                                api keywords

Hi, my boss is asking if you "have any API for keyword research -- e.g., as soon as a user creates a card title in [our application], we can auto-recommend keywords from Moz within [the application]. I shared a link with him to your Links API page, but he says he doesn't think that API does the above. Can you help? Thank you, Renae
