We have shopping cart links (<a href's,="" not="" input="" buttons)="" that="" link="" to="" a="" url="" along="" the="" lines="" of="" cart="" add="" 123&return="/product/123. </p"></a>
<a href's,="" not="" input="" buttons)="" that="" link="" to="" a="" url="" along="" the="" lines="" of="" cart="" add="" 123&return="/product/123. </p">The SEOMoz site crawls are flagging these as a massive number of 302 redirects and I also wonder what sort of effect this is having on linkjuice flowing around the site. </a>
<a href's,="" not="" input="" buttons)="" that="" link="" to="" a="" url="" along="" the="" lines="" of="" cart="" add="" 123&return="/product/123. </p">I can see several possible solutions:
- Make the links nofollow
- Make the links input buttons
- Block /cart/add with robots.txt
- Make the links 301 instead of 302
- Make the links javascript (probably worst care)
All of these would result in an identical outcome for the UX, but are very different solutions.
What would you suggest?</a>

Sorry but input buttons are built for this. Why wouldnt you use link buttons and style to match your existing UI?
Links of any kind are not the answer to this at all..

But is using nofollow not going to cause a leaking of link juice that buttons would not?
There's no reason at all why input buttons will change the design of the site once styled with CSS.

I agree erl=nofollow would be best in thie situation.
Input buttons would potentially chaneg the design of the site (which may or may not be a good thing)
301 over 302 is still going to ahve a little bit of a negative effect
Use javascript links - urgh!
Block /cart/add with robots.txt would probably work, but I prefer the nofollow route

disavow link more than 100,000 lines
I recieved a huge amount of spamy link (most of them has spam score 100) Currently my disavow link is arround 85.000 lines but at least i have 100.000 more domain which i should add them. All of them are domains and i don't have any backlink in my file. My Problem is that google dosen't accept disavow link which are more than 2MB and showes this message : File too big: Maximum file size is 100,000 lines and 2MB What should i do now?

If we should add a .eu or remain .com solely
Hello, Our company is international and we are looking to gain more traffic specifically from Europe. While I am aware that translating content into local languages, targeting local keywords, and gaining more European links will improve rankings, I am curious if it is worthwhile to have a company.eu domain in addition to our company.com domain. Assuming the website's content and domain will be exactly the same, with the TLD (.eu vs .com) being the only change - will this add us benefit or will it hurt us by creating duplicate content - even if we create a separate GSC property for it with localized targeting and hreflang tags? Also - if we have multiple languages on our .eu website, can different paths have differing hreflangs? IE: company.eu/blog/german-content German hreflang and company.eu/blog/Italian-content Italian hreflang. I should note - we do not currently have an hreflang attribute set on our website as content has always been correctly served to US-based English speaking users - we do have the United States targeted in Google Search Console though. It would be ideal to target countries by subfolder rather if it is just as useful. Otherwise, we would essentially be maintaining two sites. Thanks!

Why add .html to WordPress pages?
A site I may take over has a plugin that adds .html to the pages. I searched online but I’ve only found how to add it rather than why to add it. Is it needed? If I remove it, I’ll have to be careful with SEO / indexed pages and redirects. The site is running 3.x.x and 90% of the plugins have not been updated in over 5 years including this one. Before I update to 4.7.x, I am trying to understand the landscape (pros / cons) on why something could be used and if I need to find a suitable replacement for it.

Fake Links indexing in google
Hello everyone, I have an interesting situation occurring here, and hoping maybe someone here has seen something of this nature or be able to offer some sort of advice. So, we recently installed a wordpress to a subdomain for our business and have been blogging through it. We added the google webmaster tools meta tag and I've noticed an increase in 404 links. I brought this up to or server admin, and he verified that there were a lot of ip's pinging our server looking for these links that don't exist. We've combed through our server files and nothing seems to be compromised. Today, we noticed that when you do site:ourdomain.com into google the subdomain with wordpress shows hundreds of these fake links, that when you visit them, return a 404 page. Just curious if anyone has seen anything like this, what it may be, how we can stop it, could it negatively impact us in anyway? Should we even worry about it? Does the Referral Traffic from a Link Influence the SEO Value of that Link?
If a link exists, and nobody clicks on it, could it still be valuable for SEO? Say I have 1000 links on 500 sites with Domain Authority ranging from 35 to 80. Let's pretend that 900 of those links generate referral traffic. Let's assume that the remaining 100 links are spread between 10 domains of the 500, but nobody ever clicks on them. Are they still valuable? Should an SEO seek to earn more links like those, even though they don't earn referral traffic? How do I add meta descriptions to Archives in Wordpress?
My most recent crawl returned a number of 'missing meta description' errors, and when I checked individual URLs, it turned out they were Wordpress Archived pages - for individual months and days (e.g. http:// .../2011/01). What's the best way to go about adding descriptions to these pages, if at all? Or should I have these pages not be indexed? I am using the All in One SEO plugin, so maybe there is an easy fix through this plugin, or it may be the cause of these errors? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! **EDIT After looking it up further, I have decided to use noindex for Archives, which should solve my problem right? Or is there a benefit to having those archived pages?

How to find links to 404 pages?
I know that I used to be able to do this, but I can't seem to remember. One of the sites I am working on has had a lot of pages moving around lately. I am sure some links got lost in the fray that I would like to recover, what is the easiest way to see links going to a domain that are pointing to 404 pages?
