Ranking A Website For Mulitiple Counties, Cities And Towns
-
Hello All,
I am optimizing three websites for a services based company in the South Jersey Area.
Of course within South Jersey there are certain counties, cities and towns I would like to show up for.
For example- Pool Cleaning
South Jersey Pool Cleaning
Cherry Hill NJ Pool Cleaning
Burlington County NJ Pool Cleaning
Voorhies NJ Pool Cleaning.
Do I need to create a page on my websites for every possible county, city and town I want to rank for?
This would entail creating thousands of pages targeting these geographic keywords.
I have seen other similar sites just list all the counties, cities and towns they service in the footer and it seems to work.
Of course this would be beneficial for any business who is looking to not only rank in their home base but a predetermined radius around their home base as well.
Thanks so much, Bill

Creating different page for every city and county is someway spammy and actually doesn't give great user experience... just think if you would like to visit a site where are "tons" of pages, actually not adding anything valuable to the website.
Create one page where you can list in nice list style cities you offer your service and look for interesting local directories where you can add your business. If any specific city is more important than others... you can create an article about it... like... How to Find Good Pool Cleaning Company in New Jersey... and give some good tips how find company, without excessively promoting your own company... you can refer there to review sites and other places, where your business is listed and has good reviews...
About local listing, you can find some information here: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/the-beginners-checklist-for-small-business-seo - but for this one is important where your business has office.
Hopefully it's useful information Bill, good luck with business!

Hi,
You have some alternatives:
1. You can create a list of cities ... but is better to specify each element of the list with H3 or H4 tag
2. You can create a list with cities(links) and make a page with dinamic content you can add the text you need by passing the parameter to other page
3. Search for an image and map on it and add alt or title to each map on image
4. Add div with images pieces of map add ALT and title to images with cities or towns create a small galery

Why has my website been removed from Bing?
I have a website that has recently been removed from Bing's index, but can't figure out why. The website isn't new, and it is indexed just fine on Google. These are the steps I've tried: The website is verified in Bing Webmaster Tools and successfully submitted the sitemap. I tested the URL to ensure that Bingbot is allowed to crawl the site I submitted URLs to Bing via the URL Submission tool There isn't a "noindex" on the site preventing it from being indexed When I do a URL Inspection, an error message comes up saying "The inspected URL is known to Bing but has some issues which are preventing us from serving it to our users. We recommend you to follow Bing Webmaster Guidelines." I contacted Bing to ask whether the website was removed in error, but received a reply that the website doesn't comply with Bing's quality guidelines, but they wouldn't go into detail as to which guidelines the website isn't meeting. The website URL is https://www.pardeehospital.org. Can anyone offer any advice or insight as to why Bing won't index our site? Thank you!

SEO on dynamic website
Hi. I am hoping you can advise. I have a client in one of my training groups and their site is a golf booking engine where all pages are dynamically created based on parameters used in their website search. They want to know what is the best thing to do for SEO. They have some landing pages that Google can see but there is only a small bit of text at the top and the rest of the page is dynamically created. I have advised that they should create landing pages for each of their locations and clubs and use canonicals to handle what Google indexes. Is this the right advice or should they noindex? Thanks S

Page Rank Worse After Optimization
For a long time, we had terrible on page SEO. No keyword targeting, no meta titles or descriptions. Just a brief 2-4 sentence product description and shipping information. Strangely, we weren't ranking too bad. For one product, we were ranking on page 1 of Google for a certain keyword. My goal to reach the top of page 1 would be easy (or so I thought). I have now optimized this page to rank better for the same keyword. I have a 276 word description with detailed specifications and shipping information. I have a strong title and meta description with keywords and modifers. I have also included a video demonstration, additional photos and an PDF of the owners manual. In my eyes, the page is 100% better than it ever was. In the eyes of MOZ, it's better also. I've got an A with the On-Page Grader. Why is this page now ranking on page 8 of Google? What have I done wrong? What can I do to correct it?

Moving half my website to a new website: 301?
Good Morning! We currently have two websites which are driving all of our traffic. Our end goal is to combine the two and fold them into each other. Can I redirect the duplicate content from one domain to our main domain even though the URL's are different. Ill give an example below. (The domains are not the real domains). The CEO does not want to remove the other website entirely yet, but is willing to begin some sort of consolidation process. ABCaddiction.com is the main domain which covers everything from drug addiction to dual diagnosis treatment. ABCdualdiagnosis.com is our secondary website which covers everything as well. Can I redirect the entire drug addiction half of the website to ABCaddiction.com? With the eventual goal of moving everything together.

Can I Improve Organic Ranking by Restrict Website Access to Specific IP Address or Geo Location?
I am targeting my website in US so need to get high organic ranking in US web search. One of my competitor is restricting website access to specific IP address or Geo location. I have checked multiple categories to know more. What's going on with this restriction and why they make it happen? One of SEO forum is also restricting website access to specific location. I can understand that, it may help them to stop thread spamming with unnecessary Sign Up or Q & A. But, why Lamps Plus have set this? Is there any specific reason? Can I improve my organic ranking? Restriction may help me to save and maintain user statistic in terms of bounce rate, average page views per visit, etc...
