I use DYNO Mapper exclusively. It is the best dynamic Sitemap Generator that I have used so far. I have used powermapper & slickplan in the past, but I like DYNO Mapper because it has some cool extra features like content audits capability and inventory display. It is also integrated with Google Analytics and displays this data on each page of the sitemap.

I use the free version of xml-sitemaps.com and it works really well - would recommend it.

I use the Microsoft SEO toolkit, its not so much dynamic, but you can just click the pages you want included. i think this is better as Duane Farrester said on white board friday, you should not include every page in your sitemap. just the main ones. If you list every page it is likly your site map will be ignored in future.
I asked Duane about this at bing, and he suggested that this is only so with large sites, if you have a small site of 10-20 pages then listing every page is not a problem. but all the same i only list useful pages, i dont list contact page, policy pages and the like.

A1 sitemap Generator 3 is good because of it can generate web sitemap, mobile sitemap, rss sitemap etc

I use http://gsitecrawler.com/ which is awesome and can be downloaded for free. Does the job for me and doesn't seem to have any limitations such as number of crawled pages.

I use xml-sitemaps.com if the website has proper navigation and is less than 500 pages. It works pretty well, you can download the sitemap afterwards in xml, html or txt.

Best way to link to multiple location pages
I am a Magician and have multiple location pages for each county I cover. I currently have them linked off the menu under locations/ <county>and also in the footer</county> However I have heard that a link from the page is much stronger, so I am experimenting with removing the Menu & Footer link and just linking to these pages from within the content. It's not really a navigation item and most people come in through search to the right page. Am I diluting the link by having it in the Menu/Page and Footer? How does changing sitemaps affect SEO
Hi all, I have a question regarding changing the size of my sitemaps. Currently I generate sitemaps in batches of 50k. A situation has come up where I need to change that size to 15k in order to be crawled by one of our licensed services. I haven't been able to find any documentation on whether or not changing the size of my sitemaps(but not the pages included in them) will affect my rankings negatively or my SEO efforts in general. If anyone has any insights or has experienced this with their site please let me know!

Dynamically Inserting Noindex With Javascript
Hello, I have a broken plugin creating hundreds of WP-Content directory pages being indexed by Google. I can not access the source code of these pages to add a noindex to them. The page URL's all have the plugin name within them. In order to resolve the issue, I wrote a solution with javascript to dynamically add in a noindex tag to any URL containing the plugin name. Would this noindex be respected by Google and is there a way to immediately check that it is respected? Currently, I can not delete the plugin due to issues with it's php. Best practice for URL - Language/country
Hi, We are planning on having our website localized into more languages. We already have an English and German version. The German version is currently a sub-domain: www.example.com --> English version de.example.com --> German version Is this recommended? Or is it always better to have URLs with language prefixes such a: www.example.com/de www.example.com/es Which is a better practice in terms of SEO?

Sitemap indexed pages dropping
About a month ago I noticed my pages indexed from my sitemap are dropping.There are 134 pages in my sitemap and only 11 are indexed. It used to be 117 pages and just died off quickly. I still seem to be getting consistant search traffic but I'm just not sure whats causing this. There are no warnings or manual actions required in GWT that I can find.

Is it bad to have same page listed twice in sitemap?
Hello, I have found that from an HTML (not xml) sitemap of a website, a page has been listed twice. Is it okay or will it be considered duplicate content? Both the links use same anchor text, but different urls that redirect to another (final) page. I thought ideal way is to use final page in sitemap (and in all internal linking), not the intermediate pages. Am I right?
