Let suppose i have one target page i.e video and one web2.0 blog or wordpress blog. If i keep on adding new articles on web2.0 and in each article i add one back link(with different anchor text) to my same target page. Is this create red flag in google as i will be using one domain? Do I need to keep my web2.0 like bloggers.com and weebly or wordpress blogs relevant to one topic to increase the relevancy score. If i try to keep them relevant my back links to target pages from one domain increases again. I kind of stuck up in this loop help me out!

To be honest, using Web 2.0 links in this way is viewed as a low quality activity. Many of these types of links were targeted by multiple Penguin updates, and too many of them could cause you a penalty. I'm not saying that all 2.0 links are bad - they certainly aren't. But spammers try to build 100's of 1000's of these types of links on throw-away blogger and WordPress blogs that add very little value to the web. These are the links Google tries to sniff out, so it's best to avoid them. A network of these types of links is Google's very definition of "unnatural" and could quickly lead to a loss of rankings and traffic. Put simply, Google wants you to earn your links. To answer your question more directly, the first link from any domain tends to count more than other links. So 100's of links from the same domain don't add as much value after the first links. And yes, this can start to look fishy. It's best to use 2.0 links in moderation, and make sure you are targeting high authority, well trusted sites. I recommend building profiles on good sites and earning links through adding value.

Hi Sajid No its not a good idea to get more no. of backlinks for one website from one web 2.0 blog. Google gives more priority to the websites who gets unique link from different C Class Ip's. Here is the nice discussion on High Value on Lots of Sites vs. High Value on One Site Below are my thoughts for Web 2.0 Strategy which you can use for your website or clients: - Use high Quality web 2.0 Sites.
- Best list of High Quality Websites : http://www.seomoz.org/directories/
- Make Blog category wise or niche wise.
- Select best theme which suits your niche.
- Update relevant blogs on regular basis.
- All Content needs be unique, attractive, informative.
- Try to use images in your blog post according to the content.
- Allow relevant guest post in your blog.
- You can give link to brand name instead of anchor text.
- Create profile in Social Media like twitter, pinterest, facebook, linkedIN, Google Plus.
- Integrate all Socail Media Profiles to your blog.
- Share every blog post on Social Media Profiles.
- Try to get as many likes, shares, pins, tweets, etc on your blog post.
If you do all above things on your blog then might be after some months you will see good improvements in PR, DA for the blog.

Backlinks embedded in posts or backlinks in sidebar?
What's better? A backlink to my site, embedded into a blog post/article? Or a hardlink in the sidebar? The problem with links embedded inside articles, is that when the blog linking to me, gets updated, the articles disappear from first page and I lose the link from home page. How do you deal with this? I also read this: "The best link you can get is from a site ranking #1 for the keyword you want to rank for. It would be great to have the #1 site for a desired keyword linking me even if they are a PR 0 site." Is this right? Thx in advance. Link Building | | BloggerGuy0

		PR1 and PR2 backlinks
We're doing some content marketing. I've heard that it is a good idea to target even PR1 and PR2 sites (small DA sites). I'm concerned about these sites disappearing after a few months, as we've found that losing a backlink can sting a bit and be worse than never having it. Though this isn't as big a deal any more. Anyways, can somebody say when a PR1/PR2 backlink would be appropriate to go after? Some of them would be easy and if it's appropriate I'd like to include them. So far they would only pass our standards if they are Above PR0 Look like a white hat, quality site from the outside Have a clean backlink profile Look like they're going to stick around Successful Social Media Accounts a plus What are you guys' criteria for including these sites? Do you gain value from them? Link Building | | BobGW0

Site URL called out but not clickable.
Hi - I'm after a bit of clarity; if my site URL is referenced in an article, but doesn't actually link through, does this still 'add value' to my seo efforts? Thanks, David Link Building | | newstd1000

		High PR Web 2.0 sites
Hello, I was wondering if you could provide some advice on which are the best Top 20 high pr web 2.0 properties for content besides wordpress? Whilst i do intend to use them to further improve my SEO campaign I also intend to use readable content, that is to say, content that i have written and i feel is worthy of being read by interested parties. What are the top 20 to look at that would benefit an SEO campaign if used correctly (without abusing or being spammy). I can see lots of crappy ones out there but they all look spammy to me and im not really liking that. Link Building | | irdeto0

Setting up Web 2.0 sites in your own name or business name?
I'm interested in starting a link wheel strategy. However, when it comes to setting up the web 2.0 sites I'm unsure as to whether to set them up in my own name or in my business name. My initial thoughts were that it would appear more natural in my own name but if I have many sites linking to the same page, isn't that bad for SEO? Does anyone have any advice?
