Link colour on page?
-

 I always thought that the link colour has to be different from text colour? I have come across a site http://www.printandpackaging.co.uk/ and it has made me question this belief, they seem to only have bolded the link which would be very nice if this is fine.

 Even though it's the same color, the link stands out from the text because it has a different weight. I think it's more important that that links stand out, which this one does, but generally that means a different color.

 Hi Bob, As others have said, there are no hard-and-fast rules. If you want to use a particular style for link text my only other recommendations to the others so far is: 1. Be consistent - don't have all sorts of random colours / styles in your copy. 2. Test. Test. Test. - Give your design to someone and ask them to complete a task that might have them click on a link and see if it works. Good luck.

 there are no particular rules, but I think its important to have your links stand out from body text for a user experience. I would also recommend having a visited link and a hover color change as well.

 Hi Bob, There are no rules on link styling. It is purely up to you how you want to style all elements of your site and you can control this via CSS: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_link.asp. Thanks, K

		JSON-LD product page markup for multiple currencies?
 I haven't found a working example of a single product page with one "Offer" in multiple "priceCurrency" and "price" We have product pages with a single product URL which will offer different prices in different currencies based on the user's IP. Some of the language of the page will be translated based on the IP (this will have href lang tag) but the URL will not change. (We're aware TLD is considered best practice, however, this is not an option at this time.) Is the best option to update the markup based on what the corresponding "country"? I'm uncertain how this may be handled by crawlers. Eg, For the product page https://www.example.com/product1 displaying USD "offers": { Web Design | | sb1030
 "@type": "Offer",
 "url": "https://www.example.com/product1",
 "itemCondition": "https://schema.org/NewCondition",
 "availability": "InStock",

 "price": "7.99"} For the product pagehttps://www.example.com/product1 displaying EUR "offers": {
 "@type": "Offer",
 "url": "https://www.example.com/product1",
 "itemCondition": "https://schema.org/NewCondition",
 "availability": "InStock",
 "priceCurrency": "EUR",
 "price": "7.50"} Thanks for any input.0

		Reasons Why Our Website Pages Randomly Loads Without Content
 I know this is not a marketing question but this community is very dev savvy so I'm hoping someone can help me. At random times we're finding that our website pages load without the main body content. The header, footer and navigation loads just fine. If you refresh, it's fine but that's not a solution. Happens on Chrome, IE and Firefox, testing with multiple browser versions Happens across various page types - but seems to be only the main content section/container Happens while on the company network, as well as externally Happens after deleting cookies, temporary internet files and restarting computer We are using a CMS that is virtually unheard of - Bridgeline/Iapps Codebase is .net Our IT/Dev group keeps pushing back, blaming it on cookies or Chrome plugins because they apparently are unable to "recreate the problem". This has been going on for months and it's a terrible experience for the user to have. It's also not great when landing PPC visitors on pages that load with no content. If anyone has ideas as to why this may be happening I would really appreciate it. I'm not sure if links are allowed, by today the issue happened on this page serversdirect.com/dm/geek-biz Linking to an image example below knEUzqd Web Design | | CliqStudios0

		What seo benefit does setting up a photo gallery where each photo is a separate web page?
 what seo benefit does setting up a photo gallery where each photo is a separate web page? My old SEO guy set up my photo gallery like that claiming that because each photo was a separate page, it added a big seo benefit and i never understood what he was talking about. Maybe alt text on the photo with key phrases in it pointing to my other pages to give my site a theme for google? I'm not really sure. He has since moved away and i am considering redoing the photo gallery to multiple images on one page to be more user friendly to my users. This photo gallery is 3 years old and the photos might have some page rank to them helping my site so i don't want to remove this gallery if there really is a benefit to it and it will hurt my site. I once removed four static page rank 3 pages from my site that weren't used for my site anymore and my rankings dropped 5 positions. Thoughts anyone? Thanks! Ron Web Design | | Ron100

		Is it better to redirect a url or set up a landing page for a new site?
 Hi, One of our clients has got a new website but is still getting quite a lot of traffic to her old site which has a page authority of 30 on the home page and has about 20 external backlinks. It's on a different hosting package so a different C block but I was wondering if anyone could advise if it would be better to simply redirect this page to the new site or set up a landing page on this domain simply saying "Site has moved, you can now find us here..." sort of idea. Any advice would be much appreciated Thanks Web Design | | Will_Craig0

		Landing pages vs internal pages.
 Hey everyone I have run into a problem and would greatly appreciate anyone that could weigh in on it. I have a web client that went to an outside vendor for marketing. The client asked me to help them target some keywords and since I am new to the SEO world I have proceeded by researching the best keywords for the client. I found 6 that see excellent monthly searches. I then registered the .com and or .net domain names that match these words. I then started building landing pages that make reference to the keyword and then have links to his site to get more info. My customer sent the first of these sites to the marketer and he says I am doing things all wrong. He says rather then having landing pages like this I should just point the domain names at internal pages to the website. He also says that I should not have different looks for the landing pages from the main site and that I should have the full site menu on each landing page. I wanted to here what everyone here has to say about the pros and cons of the way to do this cause the guy giving the advice to me has a lower ranking site then I do and I have only started working on getting my site ranked this year. He has atleast according to him been doing this forever. Thanks, Ron Web Design | | bsofttech0
