Google Ad referral

I was wondering if someone could decode the jumble of a referral - this is supposedly the referal that led to a click through to my site via a product listing ad. I am trying to figure out how www.nextag.com comes in to the picture as we do not have refurbexperts even listed there? Thanks to anyone who tries/does work it out.

I would imagine that Nextag is one of Google's search partners, which is why they are showing google ads there. This is the section that mentions that in Google's support section. You should be able to disable search partners in your shopping campaign settings.

thanks. does it make sense that pla would come upon next tag? I thought it only showed up on google search results?

http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nextag.com%2Fhp-p2015-laserjet%2Fproducts-html%3Fnxtg%3D116d0a1c0504- I knew that the % meant it was encoding another character. I didn't know exactly which characters those stood for off the top of my head, so i just made educated guesses and got http://www.nextag.com/hp-p2015-laserjet/products-html Generally html is the end of the url so I assumed the %3Fnxtg%3D116d0a1c0504- was a url parameter, which after looking at the table of url encoded characters, %3F is a "?" which is the beginning of a url parameter.

Yes we have pla's although i thought it was just on google search results. Just out of interest -how did you work it out?
-

It looks like you are although possibly unintentionally. It looks like you're doing display advertising and are showing up here because it's a relevant page. It actually looks like a product listing ad. Here's a link to the page I found your ad on.

Google Analytics Goals - Button Tracking
Does anyone know if there is a really easy way to track a button in Google Analytics yourself? It seems that most button click goal setups involve some use of tricky code and I'm wondering if there is a much easier way to do this that will allow us to simply setup and track certain button clicks as goal conversions in Analytics. Your help here is much appreciated! Reporting & Analytics | | Gavo0

Google Analytics reporting traffic for 404 pages
Hi guys, Unique issue with google analytics reporting for one of our sites. GA is reporting sessions for 404 pages (landing pages, organic traffic) e.g. for this page: http://www.milkandlove.com.au/breastfeeding-dresses/index.php the page is currently a 404 page but GA (see screenshot) is reporting organic traffic (to the landing page). Does anyone know any reasons why this is happening? Cheers. http://www.milkandlove.com.au/breastfeeding-dresses/index.php GK0zDzj.jpg Reporting & Analytics | | jayoliverwright2

Google Analytics SEO Queries Not Showing
Hi All, This might be a silly question, but for all the properties I monitor in Google Analytics, I'm now showing no data for SEO Queries under Acquisition for the past 6 days. Normally I would expect a few day delay in queries, but nothing for 6 days is somewhat peculiar especially as it was functioning fine prior to November 12th. Does anyone have insight into what might be going on? Thanks! URaNMa3 Reporting & Analytics | | amichaels0

Google Analytics shows most referrers as "Direct" -- What are some better tools?
Very often Google Analytics will show 50-90% of our referrers as (direct) which is not very helpful. Are there other tools out there that will provide a clearer breakdown of what other websites are sending us our traffic? Specifically, I want to be able to be able to tell who are the top traffic referrers to my top performing pages on my site for the last 30 days. (I want to be able to study this on a per-page basis.) Thanks in advance! Reporting & Analytics | | Brand_Psychic0

Google Analytics: how many visits from country Google domains?
Hello, I manage a site with visitors from many different countries. With Google Analytics, it is normal to see the number of visitors from each search engine. However, I would like to identify the number of visitors from each Google-search contry domain. How many visitors from Google.com? How many from Google.co.uk. And from Google.co.zm? And so on. Anybody knows if this is possible and if yes, how can it be done? Thank you in advance, Dario Reporting & Analytics | | Darioz0
