There is no specific tool but you can analyze if suddenly your organic traffic dropped.

The best way to find your website is penalized or not is analyzing your Google analytics tool. Review your organic traffic in Google analytics tool. If there is drop in your traffic from the specific date when Google released any updates then might be you are penalized.

Panguin is a great tool, but it requires you to give up your GA data (or at least it used to). If you want to keep your data private or get info on a site that you don't have GA access to, consider this tool which uses SEMrush traffic data and matches it up with Algo Update dates. http://feinternational.com/website-penalty-indicator/

Yeah Panguin is definitely the way to go with this one although you do need to access to the sites analytics. Also check out Moz's own list of updates which details the change and the date. Can be found here

I tend to use the Panguin Tool and look for sudden drops in traffic at update times - http://barracuda.digital/panguin-tool/ - it maps your sites google analytics against updates.

My site shows 503 error to Google bot, but can see the site fine. Not indexing in Google. Help
Hi, This site is not indexed on Google at all. http://www.thethreehorseshoespub.co.uk Looking into it, it seems to be giving a 503 error to the google bot. I can see the site I have checked source code Checked robots Did have a sitemap param. but removed it for testing GWMT is showing 'unreachable' if I submit a site map or fetch Any ideas on how to remove this error? Tools to test meta descriptions?
Hey does anyone know of any tools which can test your meta descriptions against competitors meta descriptions for specific keyword terms. I know one tool called SERP Turkey which uses mechanical turk, i was wondering if there is any others on the market? After reading of Google's so called "over-optimization" penalty, is there a penalty for changing title tags too frequently?
In other words, does title tag change frequency hurt SEO ? After changing my title tags, I have noticed a steep decline in impressions, but an increase in CTR and rankings. I'd like to once again change the title tags to try and regain impressions. Is there any penalty for changing title tags too often? From SEO forums online, there seems to be a bit of confusion on this subject...

Buying a domain banned by google
Hi , I came across a super domain for my business but found out that it was a great domain with 100s of link backs but is now banned by Google search engine meaning Google does not index content from that domain. Since the domains linkbacks are from my domin does it make sense to but that domain and redirect those link backs to another (301) and hope that the new domain gets some juice ... I know it is sounding crazy and may not be the best thing to do ethically but still wanted to check if its possible to get some juice.. Rgds Avinash

Multiple Authors Google + Authorship
Hello, I took a look through past questions but can't seem to find a definitive answer on setting up Google + Authorship credit (for multiple authors) using a Wordpress blog. Has anyone had experience setting this up? Or could you recommend solid reading/research? I took a look at a couple of Wordpress plug in's but just found them very confusing (so did our IT contact who will ultimately be setting up code for this.) Any direction or advice is appreciated.
