Normal Web 2.0 websites like Wordpress.com, blogger.com have very High DA and PA. But when we create a subdomain, DA and PA falls to 1 as Google treats subdomain as new websites. Does it make any sense then to get backlinks from web 2.0 websites? will it help in Google rankings?

It's not really worth your time when compared to other link building methods and writing content for your site that will attract links.
I'm just saying that the more linking root domains you have, the better and so it can't hurt to get one link from wordpress and blogger. But yeah, on a spectrum of most valuable links to least valuable, they would be on the least valuable side of things.

Thank you for your reply. So no matter sub domains on these web 2.0 have DA and PA 1, it still helps in Google Rankings? Is it?? Is the effort worth spending on getting links from web 2.0 sub domain websites??

I believe it's worth getting 1 link from a blogspot blog and 1 link from a wordpress.com blog just for the sake of getting more linking root domains.
I'd check your backlinks first because it's possible you already have one and I wouldn't waste time creating more.

Backlinks from different TLD's impact
Hi MOZ'ers, I'm wondering what the impact of different TLD backlinks is for same language pages. For example: we're on a website that has a German national TLD .de. We're earning backlinks and they are coming from .de as well as .ch (Switzerland) or .at (Austria) pages. What would be more desirable, and how big would you consider the difference? I have some excellent quality backlinks (telegraph,dailyexpress...) and moz doesn't add them 2 month after?
Hello the MOZ community, My question is simple. I read on the forum that if moz doesn't add your backlinks after quite a while, it's because they are poor value. Homepage Vs. Inner Page Backlink Building?
If I'm trying to rank multiple inner pages, when does strengthening the homepage become more productive than strengthening the inner pages themselves? Is there a strategy to this? For example, maybe you build up a few dozen backlinks to each inner page, and then focus all your efforts on the homepage? Because, from my understanding, strengthening the homepage will go a long way towards helping your inner pages rank. Is that correct?
