Domain Authority dropped 10 points and I don't know why

In my latest site crawl, the domain authority dropped 10 points for no apparent reason. There have been no changes to the site. The only change I have made this month is to block referral spam to the site. My competitors' DAs have stayed the same too.

Check for incoming links and see if there's any pattern. Check referral traffic and see if any bot traffic is landing on your website or not. Try the following steps:
- Create a filter in analytics
- Block spam IPs
- Block bot traffic to land on your website.
- Create quality backlinks
- Find out pages that are performing lower in SERP i.e. 5,6,7 or 8,9th positions. Optimize them and push them for better CTR.
Once you are done, submit sitemap and wait for some time, I hope this will help you out recovering the lost DA as it works for me.

With just a quick look, you've got 53ish links and many of them are questionable at best, or directory links.
So, link quality may be an issue, also, did you manually disavow links? If so, you probably just brought unwanted attention to your site.
We never tell clients to disavow on their own... only if they receive a manual penalty do we take that step.
Instead, focus on building actual valuable links as Google and other search engines have gotten pretty good at recognizing and ignoring spam links on their own.

PA and DA for Homepage
I've been looking at the PA and DA scores for the homepage of websites we have built and have been comparing this to competitors. What I'm finding is that the PA score is always higher than the DA, however on competitors sites the PA is much higher in relation to the DA. What could be the reason for this? For example, some of our website homepages may have PA / DA scores such as the following: Website #1: PA37 DA25 (PA:DA = 1.48)

Website #2: PA31 DA21 (PA:DA = 1.47) However competitors often have figures like this: Website #3: PA40 DA21 (PA:DA 1.9)
Website #4: PA 25 DA 11 (PA:DA 2.27) I even saw one website with the following scores: Website #5: PA36 DA5 (PA:DA 7.2) How do you explain such a high Page Authority in relation to the domain authority for that site? When I look at the scores for our websites I often feel that the DA is at a good level, but the PA for the homepage doesn't seem as high as it could be compared to competitors. My initial thought was that maybe we had a lot of backlinks to other pages on the website (not the homepage) but this is not the case at all - pretty much all our backlinks are to the homepage. titles length, URL length and meta descriptions on a subdomain effecting SEO on main domain?
Hi all, I am currently evaluating areas for optimization on my main domain. When doing this, Moz has identified multiple titles and urls that should be shortened and missing meta descriptions on my subdomain (a help center of sorts). As far as I am aware, we have not set up any "no-index" rules for this subdomain. Are these items affecting SEO on my main domain? Thanks,

Unsolved Moz doesn't find backlinks for months / link tracking list offline

I want to share a big problem with you. Moz tracking list seems to be offline or having trouble finding links. I have an example:
The page where the backlink has been placed was created months ago. As you can see on the picture:
Link to the page is http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/profile/tableauxdumonde
Backlink on that page is https://ggongtime.com/ Picture shows clearly that the page of backlink (Microsoft) has been indexed and already has got it's own backlinks in Moz (8) but it is still not linking to the backlink website (ggongtime.com).
I've also attached a picture of page source where you can clearly see that it is a html link and is dofollow.
The problem remains since 3 months and I want to find out what is going on. This Microsoft page is one of example. There are hundreds of other pages being found, or not, and are still not showing up in Link Explorer on website's portfolio.
I want to know if there is a technical problem with link explorer, or anything else, because this is a serious problem for me. moz problem.png0 -
Solved Link tracking list is not working

Ive been using link tracking list to add links for my website for 2 years now and it always worked the same Way - - > up to 1 week and the links were added to website's portfolio. The problem occurs since 2 months and links placed in link tracking list simply arent being added to website's portfolio. Are there any updates going on in background? For example at the bottom of this blog post https://www.poppyandperle.com/post/face-painting-a-global-language the hashtags are linked, but they don't go to a page, they go to search results of all other blogs using that hashtag. Seems a bit of a strange approach to me.

Google will index us, but Bing won't. Why?
Bing is crawling our site, but not indexing it, and we cannot figure out why -- plus it's being indexed fine in Google. Any ideas on what the issue with Bing might be? Here's are some details to let you know what we've already checked/established: We have 4 301’s and the rest of our site checks out We’ve already established our Robots is ok, and that we are fixing our site map/it's in fine shape We do not see anything blocking bingbot access to the site There is no varnish or any load balancers, so nothing on that end that would be blocking the access We also don't see any rules in the apache or the .htaccess config that would be blocking the access

A client has purchased many domains with keywords in each. They want to have us point each domain to their site for better SEO. Is this a good or bad thing to do?

Domains
My questions is what to do with old domains we own from a past business. Is it advantages to direct them to the new domain/company or is that going to cause a problem for the new company. They are not in the same industry.
