                overthetopseo.com happy to help you,
To add multiple locations to an existing Google Business Profile (GBP), follow these steps:

                • Log in to your Google My Business account: Go to the Google My Business website and sign in using the credentials associated with your GBP.
                • Access your Business Profile: Once logged in, locate and select the existing GBP that you want to add multiple locations to from your dashboard.
                • Click on "Info": Within your Business Profile, click on the "Info" tab in the left-hand menu. This is where you can manage the information for your GBP.
                • Select "Manage Locations": Scroll down to the "Manage Locations" section, and click on the "Manage locations" button.
                • Add new locations: In the "Manage Locations" section, you can add new locations to your existing GBP. Click on the "Add location" button and enter the details of the new location. You'll need to provide the business name, address, phone number, website URL, and other relevant information.
                • Verify the new locations: After adding the new locations, Google may require you to verify the business information for each location. This verification process ensures the accuracy and legitimacy of your listings.
                • Confirm the changes: Review the changes you made, and once you're satisfied with the information, click the "Apply" or "Save" button to update your existing GBP with the multiple locations.
                • Manage your locations: Once added, you can manage each location individually within your Google My Business dashboard. You can update business hours, add photos, respond to reviews, and monitor performance metrics for each location.

Remember to keep all your business information accurate and up-to-date for each location to enhance the user experience and boost your local search visibility.

Note: If you have a chain of businesses with many locations, you may also consider using the Google My Business bulk upload feature to streamline the process of adding multiple locations to your GBP.

                  Solve Redirect Chains

                  redirect help http

I've gotten a few Redirect Issues that involve Redirect Chains, with the https:// version redirecting to the www. version and then redirecting to the right URL. Here is an example:
Schermafbeelding 2021-12-07 om 11.04.32.png I've tried setting a direct redirect between the first and the last URL, but WordPress doesn't seem to allow that (it's overwritten). I've also tried checking the internal links to make sure that none of the links are the first one. They don't seem to be there. Does anyone have any tips on solving these Redirect Chains?

Local Landing Page Optimization and Multiple GMB Listings

Hello, We’re building out a site for our business that has close to 100 office locations in different cities. Many of these are ‘partner brands’ that we have acquired under our brand. Similar to a franchise model. We want to be able to help users find offices near their location. Each office will have it’s own landing page with a physical address and contact information. We know we’ll have to build out unique copy and markup customized to the office/location. We’ve already read through https://a-moz.groupbuyseo.org/blog/overcoming-your-fear-of-local-landing-pages as well. We’re also considering ‘silos’ to build out pages for each location. To preserve authority and avoid cannibalization; our thought was having each location as sub-folders off of our domain (i.e. domain.com/locations/Partner#1/). The other option would be using a sub-domain (i.e. Partner.Domain.com/) which we noticed competitors doing and treating each sub-domain as their own independent site. Is all of the above the correct strategy? Any further suggestions? Should we fill out a separate GMB for each office and should they all use the same brand name? (in other words “BrandA” vs. “BrandA” - Brooklyn Office). In addition to GMB; would each location need local listings created (also all under the same name)? Any help or insight would be very much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from all of you! Thank you in advance. Best,

                  GMB 'Located In' Feature

Hello - can anyone provide some guidance on how to remove a 'Located in' field from a GMB listing?  This has appeared in a client's GMB listing - but the other location is separate and so it is not applicable.  I have worked out how to add a 'Located in' feature - but not remove it.  Appreciate any help.

Hey, everyone! As a business owner who works from home and doesn't have a physical office location. Is setting up a Google business listing without location going to hurt my local search ranking? Should I get a virtual office so I have a physical location? Thank you!! 😃

How to Have Multiple Listings appear on Google maps

Hi my client has two locations for his restaurants: Me Gusta Tacos He wants to have both his locations show up in the map pack, which they currently do when you type in Restaurants, Dinner, food near me etc... However, when you google Me Gusta Tacos the Google listing shows up on the right for one of his locations, but there isn't a Map Pack for his two locations. I wasn't sure if a map pack only shows up when there are 3 or more locations, for instance, a chipotle which I added an image below to compare too. HGOgln5 Jgdoi4Y

Google My Business - bulk location upload vs. single upload

Hi there, I have a question regarding Google My Business listings: We currently have a business with few offices (less than 10). Each office has it's Google listing under the same Google account.
We plan on opening new offices at a certain pace, let's say two a month, which means we'll have more than 10 listings in the near future.
As far as I recall, Google allows up to 10 listings per account, which means it won't suffice. On the other hand, We do not have 10 offices at the time being, which means we're not eligible for a bulk upload. Any ideas how to handle this situation?

Best Practice When Selling One Location of Company with Multiple Branches - Local Search

I have a client with a small business with 4 different branches. Currently, we have a main landing page for the company, plus distinct landing pages for each branch with maps, territories, distinct phone numbers, etc., for each branch. The company recently sold one of the branches to a competitor  as they do not want to service that area anymore. They have asked me what they should do now. Obviously, we are going to remove the location page for that branch, but we also need to transfer the phone number to the other company for use as part of the sale. What tasks should I look into for separating the branch from the rest of the company while still maintaining best practice for the rest of the site/company? Thank you for your help and suggestions.

Concerned about cannibalization for local SEO results. Should we move some of our location pages to a subdomain?

Currently we are providing local SEO recommendations for a well known pharmacy chain.  Like most major brands they enjoy multiple organic (not just 3 pack results) listings when people search for local phrases such as "Dallas pharmacy clinics'". The issue is that all these listings are coming from the same domain page.  We are seeing multiple listings both branded and non-branded search queries. Our concern is that Google will someday decide to choose one listing as the most authoritative and nix the rest of the local listings which will reduce their first page search engine saturation.  To maintain first page saturation we are considering recommending to the client that they move some of their location listings
to a subdomain (different IP address) to avoid a Google "clean up".  Please note that our client is certainly not using any "doorway" pages but some of these are very scarce on content.  They do not have an issue with duplicate content either. By using subdomains could we help maintain our client's first page saturation?  Any links to articles would be much appreciated.
