Joe Oliver started the Gathering with the hopes to build a church that fosters a thoughtful approach to Christianity as well as creating authentic communities to live it out. Joe works bi-vocationally between the church and a local Internet Marketing Firm called Page One Power. Joe has been in ministry for over 14 years. Beginning as a Youth Pastor and later as a lead Pastor he is passionate about apologetics and history. His teachings feature this love by explaining the why and where behind the text giving a more holistic look at the scriptures. Joe is a certified minister with the Assemblies of God and this church is a part of the Assemblies of God Southern Idaho District.
