My name is Tasha, which is not short for Natasha, but is, in fact, the 5th most popular name for female dogs in the United States.

Tasha's first solo jaunt abroad took her to London, England for a college semester, and she can’t be sure if it was the constant rain, the knee-weakening accents or the thrill of being out on her own, but the experience lit a flame under her, and a life-long obsession with travel was born.

Tasha is a freelance writer who now travels the world with her husband and two cats on their Catalina 34 sailboat, Hideaway. In September 2013, they'll be competing on two different boats in the Clipper Round the World Race, which Tasha will be writing about at www.TurfToSurf.com
