          So.

I have an online application form, on the website. It's maked with php, html and css.

What i like to place on the email, is a cookie tracking system.

For example, when someone search on the google for " web design ", and then see my result on google organic, comes the visitor to my site, charge the fields of application forms and click send.

Than, me like an admin, i receive an email with informations of a customer, i see name/surname/etc.. but i like to integrate is for example, like to see a:

          • IP from Visitors, who charged the fields

          • Referrerr, if google, like to see which query he typed.

How can i do this please?

I can't help with the technical information, but I do want to mention to be sure that everything is disclosed in a privacy statement, and that you're not doing anything to violate Google Analytics' terms of service about personally identifiable information (if you're using GA).

                Hi there,

I had the same issue and couldn't find any simple solutions so I went ahead and created a free tool that does exactly what you are looking to do. It captures information submitted through a lead form along with where they came from and if they came from a search engine, it automatically tracks the exact keyword phrase they searched for. Then all of the lead information is sent to you in an email as well as stored in a very basic database for you to manage them. It's still a work in progress but it accomplishes what I want it to do for the time being. Feel free to check it out at http://convertable.com and please let me know if you have any suggestions or comments.

Another option is to add a Unique ID number to the Thank You page URL. For example, add a hidden field to your application form named "uid" which is a random number like 399285. Then when the form is submitted, redirect to a Thank You page such as www.yoursite.com/thankyou?uid=399285. Then you can look up that pageview in Google Analytics and reverse engineer it to see more data about who submitted the form and how they got to your site, such as referral information, keyword, etc.

                Hope that helps!

Can you track two Google Analytics Accounts on one site?

If you have a site that had an old analytics account and then implemented a new one is it possible to run tracking code that records to both accounts without causing your site or data issues? We are doing this so we don't loose data at any point - ideally it wouldn't have been split between the two but making one redundant isn't an option. Ideally we would have merged the data from both accounts and had one - however the research we have done points to this not being a possibility - unless one of you guys knows different? It would be great if anyone has experience on any this.. Thanks

Can you arrange Google Analytics source/medium traffic by percentage change?

I'm doing a year to year traffic audit for a client.  I would like to analyze Google Analytics source/medium traffic by percent change.   Is there a way to do this?  Do I have to create a custom variable? 9BH70RO

Tracking time spent on a section of a website in Google Analytics

Hi, I've been asked by a client to track time spent or number of pages visited on a specific section of their website using Google Analytics but can't see how to do this. For example, they have a "golf" section within their site and want to measure how many people either visit 5 page or more within the golf section or spend at least 6 minutes browsing the various golf section pages. Can anyone advise how if this can be done, and if so, how I go about it. Thanks

How can I track my rankings on Google Images?

I noticed a small amount of traffic coming from a particular very generic keyword. Being pleasantly surprised that we are ranking for this, and after some digging, I found that we are actually ranking in Google images, rather than in the web results. How can I track whether other keywords are ranking in Google images? I use Rank Checker to track keywords in the main web results, but this doesn't have a function for Google Images. Help please - thanks.

Is it possible to get demographic and interest information from DoubleClick cookies?

We use Google Analytics and we are currently extracting information from the Google Analytics cookies about our visitors. Is it possible to access DoubleClick cookies in a similiar fashion and get some demographic/interest information for each visitor to our website (if they have a DoubleClick cookie set)? If so, any information on how to retrieve it would be very appreciated.

Is there a way to use Google Analytics event tracking for YouTube embedded videos on my website?

Hello! I am trying to track different types of interaction on the YouTube for videos which are embedded on a website to measure the interaction on these video from my organic traffic.  Is there a good way to go about this with the code since these are coming from an iFrame on YouTube?  Would appreciate any feedback or help on implementing the event tracking with YouTube videos. Many thanks!
