Keywords with and without diacritics

Hi,
I am trying to make my site to appear in the search results even the searched term have or have not been wrote with diacritics for example: "șarpe" or "sarpe". The language is Romanian.
If I seach for "Românul cu maşină, marea victimă" or "Romanul cu masina, marea victima" the first result for both searches is the same. I don't see anything special on their html code and I am wondering how do they did it.

Thank you SoleGraphics for the link but seems the issue is somewhere else.
I made some more tests. The keyword on my page is "matematică" which means "math" in English. I have searched on google.ro for "site:mysite.ro matematica":
- Chrome show no results
- Firefox show the expected results
- IE show the expected results
The google.com show no results on any browser. My site is relatively new so probably it will take some time for receiving results.
I am wondering if I am writing in the meta keywords the keywords without diacritics if will help the search engine to understand that the keywords with and without diacritics are variants of the same keyword.

It probably has to do with their language and geo tags. I'm not too familiar with international SEO but that would be my take on it.

Tool for wildcard keyword suggestions
Like others, I have also been oblivious to the options which were uncovered in this article, using stars or underscores to uncover more keywords suggestions. However, I am trying to find a way to avoid the manual labour. Did any of you find a successful tool that automatically adds all the possible combinations of these wildcards to give a comprehensive lists of suggestions? I have a client that has been optimizing for "print and apply" for the past 5 months. Yesterday they decided it was more grammatically correct to use "print-and-apply." There question to me was "is this going to effect our SEO?" So... I checked the difficulty using the keyword analysis tool, both keywords had the same broad/exact adwords traffic as well as difficulty percentage. When reviewing the top 25 listings for each keyword it looks like the same sites rank in the SERPs between 1-8 and then after that it is completely different. So, is there a better keyword to target? Are these two keywords different enough to truly have separate search results?

How do you limit the number of keywords that will be researched
I'm working with a client who has a website, but doesn't really have a clearly defined idea of who their key audience is nor do they know what keyword phrases they would like to rank for. I know that I can generate a starting list by reviewing their site, but I want to set some parameters on it so I can provide an accurate estimate. I'm looking for suggestions on how to do this.
