How do Maximize WordPress with 2 SEO Plugins

I have 2 WordPress SEO Plugins, Yoast and All-in-One SEO. I have tried like heck to make them work together, but every time I crawl my site here, I get multiple error messages. My question is, how can I tweak the title settings to avoid having multiple meta desctiptions, titles etc.

I agree with the previous answers. Just stick to one plugin. Besides, WP plugins use up server resources so try to keep only the really necessary. Personally I use Yoast's and works well. Make sure you have the latest version (0.4.2) since the previous one gave TONS of errors when trying (failing) to generate the sitemap xml.
Yoast's plugin is particularly good since everything is integrated, so the sitemap is coherent with the canonicals and the noindex etc etc. Otherwise, you'll have one plugin dictating, say, one canonical for a page and the other plugin a different thing (hypothetically, at least) which is obviously not good.

I have switched all of my websites to Yoast Wordpress SEO exclusively, and would highly suggest not using both SEO plugins at the same time. I chatted with Joost at length via Skype about a similar situation, and I can assure you it is against your best interest to try and use both.
While I am a fan of AIOSEO, I have found the Yoast plugin does everything and more and love it.
They are not meant to work together so your time would be wasted attempting to do so. Just make sure you are maximizing each plugin. I would recommend working with Yoast.

Why do you need both plugins? I would pick the one I like and then deactivate the other.

2 antivirus softwares cannot work on a single machine. Say u have Norton and FSecure. fSecure wil show Norton as a threat and Norton wil show fSecure as threat.
Similarly, when u have 2 SEO plugins activated on the same WP installation, each will try to override the other plugin's setting and thus causing the errors you are currently seeing. I have been using "All-in-one-SEO" and I have been very satisfied so far. Never found a need of another one. Just try deactivating the Yoast, and your errors should disappear.

Tags - Good or bad for SEO
We are getting Moz errors for duplicate content because tag pages share the same blog posts. Is there any way to fix this? Are these errors bad for SEO, or can I simply disregard these and ignore them? We are also getting Moz errors for missing descriptions on tag pages. I am unsure how to fix these errors, as we do not actually have pages for these on our WordPress site where we are able to put in a description. I have heard that having tags can be good for SEO? How to Handle duplicate pages/titles in Wordpress
The wordpress blog causes problems with page titles. If you go to the second page of blog posts it there's a different URL but with the same page title. for example: page 1: site/blog page 2: site/blog/page/2 Each page gets flagged for duplicate page titles. Thanks in advance for your thoughts,

Wordpress category links not working
Hi All of sudden, my category links are not working. Any tips on figuring out what's causing this? Looks like permalink problem with newer wordpress version. I turned off all the plugins see if this cause any problems. Still not being able to find any option. What is the most SEO friendly Shopping Cart?
What is the most SEO friendly shopping cart? I have been using zen-cart for 6 years. Seems Google doesn't like it as much as other carts. I started a new site about 6 months ago using Magento. When I build links to this site the terms move. The terms are very similar. So I would imagine the competition is the same. I am curious if anybody has tried with different carts and found anyone to be better than the others. Also the new site has about one tenth the amount of products but has a lot more pages indexed.

Generic domain for SEO versus Brand name
I am currently building a retail e-commerce site in a highly competitive area. We have a generic brand name; e.g. kitchen-knives.com and we also have another brand name, e.g. 'slycers.com' We have 3 options that I can see and I would like to know which is better for SEO. Build generic.com as a blog site. Link to brand.com 301 redirect from generic.com to brand.com. Use generic.com as anchor text in all links 301 redirect from brand.com to generic.com . How to optimize a wordpress blog
I’m helping a client optimize a word press blog, and I’m not that familiar with Wordpress. The site is www.athleticfoodie.com. At first I was treating it like a normal website, where the categories would be optimized like pages on a website. However, I now realize that categories don’t have any content on them, so I can’t really optimize anything other than the names. Are the following things the best way to handle on-page optimization for a blog? Optimizing the homepage & domain: Find ways to incorporate the most important keywords into the elements on the main frame of the site: Navigation menu, Widgets, Category names, Alt Images. Optimizing the categories: For the posts within the categories (i.e., photos), work to make sure the category keywords are worked into the post titles (but not too much to seem spammy) Optimizing specific posts. Work keywords into the text and images. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
