 I want to optimise the logo on our site. Our developers have presently got the site logo code like this: 601 character description, no keywords 1. How best to use the alt text and description? 2. Do I concentrate on alt text? Isn't the 601 character description:
 a) too long, and
 b) an opportunity to add relevant keywords again, like the alt text?

 Thanks Tom, yes that's very helpful

 I would use schema on the URL, so Google knows what you want to appear as your logo. However, the description is not as necessary. script type="application/ld+json"> {"@context": "http://schema.org/",
 "@type": "Organization",
 "url": "http://www.yourcompany.com/",
 "logo": "http://www.yourcompany.com/logo.png"
 }If you use <a class="selected" data-selects="microdata">Microdata</a> schema you will have your description show up on your page you want that? ACME Hotel Innsbruckalt="hotel logo" /> A beautifully located business hotel right in the heart of the alps. Watch the sun rise over the scenic Inn valley while enjoying your morning coffee. alt="Company name"/> alt="image description" title="image tooltip"/> Alt text is best when always used but you do not want to make it too long. Three words should suffice at most As far as a description goes under your logo that's a choice you in your designer have to speak about I would think it would look a little odd. Keep in mind "Each image should have an alt text. Not just for SEO purposes but also because blind and visually impaired people otherwise won’t know what the image is for. A title attribute is not required. It can be useful but in most cases, leaving it out shouldn’t be much of an issue." - https://yoast.com/image-seo-alt-tag-and-title-tag-optimization/ (ALT TEXT)

		ADA, WCAG, Section 508 Accessibility and hidden text
 I am working on fixing accessibility issues on client's site, and they have contracted with a vendor who provides both tools to monitor the site and consulting to help us fix issues that are found. When there are spatial relationships between elements on a page that would be not be evident to someone listening via a screen reader, a strategy that they recommended to us to is to add text helpers that are not visible, but still read by the screen readers. An example: Directions to our Fifth Avenue Store I have seen this technique used on a major brand site but I am concerned that their brand strength insulates them from a hidden text penalty far more than my client's brand would. Also, their implementation uses class names like "ada_hidden" which may help search engines understand the intent, or may not at all. I am looking for opinions regarding the use of this technique. Normally I wouldn't use it for risk of penalty, but here the intent is to improve the user experience of the pages. Anyone used similar techniques for ADA/WCAG, or solved the problem in a more SEO-friendly way? Thanks, Will Technical SEO | | WillW0

		Error: Missing Meta Description Tag on pages I can't find in order to correct
 This seems silly, but I have errors on blog URLs in our WordPress site that I don't know how to access because they are not in our Dashboard. We are using All in One SEO. The errors are for blog archive dates, authors and just simply 'blog'. Here are samples: http://www.fateyes.com/2012/10/ Technical SEO | | gfiedel

		What can I do about missing Meta Description for category pagest etc.?
 On all my campaigns I'm returning high levels of 'Missing Meta Description Tags'. The problem with fixing this is they're all for category, tag and author pages. Is there a way to add a meta description to these pages (there are hundreds) or will it not really have any ranking effect? Technical SEO | | SiliconBeachTraining0
