I was born in Portland, Oregon just a few blocks from my office at Good Samaritan Hospital. After high school I attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C. and then completed a business degree at Portland State University. The day after graduation, I went to work as a realtor at Professional 100 in 1992. (I know some of you will remember that name). Since then I've worked in real estate and mortgage with a seven year break as the Director of Sales & Marketing at SSI Shredding Systems in Wilsonville. If you want to be mezmerized with entertaining shredding videos (way more than paper), you can check them out at www.ssiworld.com.
While at a New Years Eve party in Government Camp on Mt. Hood, I met my beautiful wife, Danielle, and we've been married for 16 glorious years (Love you punkin' :)). The mountains will alway be special to us as we were married in a small ski village in Galtur, Austria. We have two young daughters (Piper and Quincie) and live in SW Portland.
For fun, we spend time skiing, fishing, sailing and as the kids grow, helping out with youth sports. By the way, if you'd like to try out sailing some time, hit me up. One of my greatest joys is introducing people to the sport/activity that has done so much for me. I have participated in most of the major distance races on the west coast including several races to Hawaii.
