Best SEO Strategy for Badges & Awards.

Hello Moz Friends!
I was wondering what the correct "SEO friendly" strategy is with badges and awards. We recently got BBB accredited and added their badge to the footer of the website. We also added a review badge from shopper approved to the footer. As I'm joining other communities, I see there's badges given to us. For example, Alignable. Great place for networking. They offer a badge that says "locals recommend us" or something.
Should I embed these badges onto our website someplace? Should I create a page for just badges or place them in the footer or sidebar widgets? What the best SEO practice for this?

According to Google
There is No SEO Benefit To Adding Trust Seals To Your SiteGoogle's Gary Illyes confirmed on Twitter that Google doesn't have a ranking signal that looks to see if a site has a trust seal on it and then gives the site a ranking benefit for having one.
In simple words:
- Badges will not improve your rank
- Badges will not give you more traffic
But this just from the SEO perspective, from the CRO perspective is another history.
Studies have shown that people trust more in the websites, which show up badges (known or not know) to sort of show how trusted or big they are. This is especially common when it comes to e-commerce websites, where this constant demand of trust as an urge to buy is very important. Therefore these trust badges have a direct role in raising the conversion rates – meaning that more website visitors would turn actual customers after visiting the website. This method is vital for many websites: there are tons of online frauds on a daily basis. Landing and Checkout pages are the most prone to feature all these badges in order to plant trust in the souls of the shoppers
IN SUMMARY
So don't let people sell you trust seals to improve your SEO. It may improve your conversion rates and user's perceived feeling of online safety but for SEO, no, it does not help.

URL Structure & Best Practice when Facing 4+ Sub-levels
Hi. I've spent the last day fiddling with the setup of a new URL structure for a site, and I can't "pull the trigger" on it. Example: - domain.com/games/type-of-game/provider-name/name-of-game/ Specific example: - arcade.com/games/pinball/deckerballs/starshooter2k/ The example is a good description of the content that I have to organize. The aim is to a) define url structure, b) facilitate good ux, **c) **create a good starting point for content marketing and SEO, avoiding multiple / stuffing keywords in urls'. The problem? Not all providers have the same type of game. Meaning, that once I get past the /type-of-game/, I must write a new category / page / content for /provider-name/. No matter how I switch the different "sub-levels" around in the url, at one point, the provider-name doesn't fit as its in need of new content, multiple times. The solution? I can skip "provider-name". The caveat though is that I lose out on ranking for provider keywords as I don't have a cornerstone content page for them. Question: Using the URL structure as outlined above in WordPress, would you A) go with "Pages", or B) use "Posts"

Best Permalinks for SEO - Custom structure vs Postname

I have heard a wealth of advice that the "post name" permalink structure is the best one to go with however... i am wondering about a "custom structure" combing the "post name" following the below example structure: Www.professionalwarrior.com/bodybuilding/%postname/ Where "professional" and "bodybuilding" is my focus/theme/keywords of my blog that i want ranked. Local SEO - two businesses at same address - best course of action?
Hi Mozzers - I'm working with 2 businesses at the moment, at the same address - the only difference between the two is the phone number. I could ask to split the business addresses apart, so that NAP(name, address, phone number) is different for each businesses (only the postcode will be the same). Or simply carry on at the moment, with the N and Ps different, yet with the As the same - the same addresses for both businesses. I've never experienced this issue before, so I'd value your input. Like Main domain: www.mywebsite.com
DomainAlias: www.myproduct.com, www.myproduct2.com, www.myproduc3.com

My domain name is free with my service with yahoo but it expires every year and gets extended automatically as I continue service, how does this impact my seo efforts? I've heard that the search engines prefer sites to expire in 3 years or more? Is this a fact?
